New Batman DVD to peek out from ‘Under the Red Hood’

Plenty of of fanboys are anticipating the new Justice League DVD “Crisis on Two Earths,” which premieres on Feb. 23, but that disc will also give birth to a new DC must-see home movie when the Dark Knight saga “Batman: Under the Red Hood” launches one of its first promos.
Written by Judd Winick and based on his 2005 Batman comics story line, it’s Batman versus another vigilante, Red Hood, who doesn’t mind cleaning up Gotham by leaving dead bodies in his wake. Animated guru Bruce Timm exec produces this pretty violent look into crime on the streets, and it’s directed by “Superman Doomsday” co-director Brandon Vietti, with a cavalcade of stars as voice talent. It all starts with Bruce Greenwood (“Star Trek”) as Batman, then continues with “Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles as Red Hood, Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”) as Nightwing, John DiMaggio (“Futurama”) as the Joker and Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter films) as Ra’s Al Ghul.

‘Supernatural’ Takes Three Portal Awards

Congrats to Jensen and Supernatural!

Give it up for “Supernatural,” The CW series that once again dominated the Airlock Alpha Portal Awards, sharing honors in what turned out to be a diverse field. “Supernatural” repeated wins in Best Actor/Television with Jensen Ackles and Best Series/Television, while “Monster at the End of This Book” earned top honors in Best Episode/Television.
Also winning an award once again was the popular fan site Supernatural.tv in the Best Web Site category. But this year’s Portal Awards, which were voted on through tens of thousands of votes from readers over a 30-day period, didn’t come without its surprises … »

Supernatural Happenings: Who’s New, Who’s Returning and Jensen Ackles Sings

Just announced – remember Meg (will be played by Rachel Miner), the sassy demon with a huge grudge against the Winchester boys? Well, she’s back! This news comes after the recent report that Adrianne Palicki, Sam Winchester’s (Jared Padalecki) ill-fated girlfriend Jessica will return to reprise her role this season.

Aside from the two returning females, Meg and Jessica, also announced this week is the casting of Mark Pellegrino, who played Lost’s mystery man Jacob, as Lucifer.

And now for all you Jensen Ackles fans out there – while on his way to Vancouver to start shooting the new season, Ackles stopped by Christian Kane’s gig in Portland to say happy birthday to his friend. Ackles, Steve Carlson (Jake on Supernatural) and Aldis Hodge (Hardison on Leverage) influenced the crowd to sing a fun rendition of Happy Birthday. Then, to everyone’s surprise, Ackles hopped on stage with Kane (Leverage) and sang a rousing version of “Luchenbach, Texas.” Needless to say, fans of both stars were thrilled.

Smallville, Supernatural Return Dates

The CW announces when their shows will premiere.
by Eric Goldman

June 17, 2009 – The CW has announced the premiere dates for this fall, including Smallville’s Friday debut, and when we’ll first see the Thursday night pairing of the new series The Vampire Diaries and returning series Supernatural.

The CW is premiering some shows earlier in September than most networks, with 90210 returning on Tuesday, September 8th at 8:00pm ET/PT, followed by the debut of the new Melrose Place. After America’s Next Top Model’s return on September 9th, the new Thursday night schedule makes its premiere on September 10th, with The Vampire Diaries at 8:00pm ET/PT, followed by Supernatural, which retains its 9:00pm ET/PT timeslot.

Smallville will actually be the last of CW’s series to debut, with Season 9 premiering Friday, September 25th at 8:00pm ET/PT, where it will be paired with Top Model encore episodes.

The CW also announced a name change for their midseason series previously titled Parental Discretion Advised. The series will now be called Life UneXpected, and its premiere date will be announced down the line by the network. Also, it seems the full title of the new Mischa Barton series The Beautiful Life is now The Beautiful Life: TBL. Okay then! I know I can’t wait to tweet and text about the new episode of TBL! I’m sure you all share that sentiment.

Following is The CW’s fall premiere schedule:

Tuesday, Sept. 8
8:00-9:00 p.m. 90210 (Season Premiere)
9:00-10:00 p.m. Melrose place (Series Premiere)

Wednesday, Sept. 9
8:00-10:00 p.m. America’s Next Top Model (2-Hour Season Premiere)

Thursday, Sept. 10
8:00-9:00 p.m. The Vampire Diaries (Series Premiere)
9:00-10:00 p.m. Supernatural (Season Premiere)

Monday, Sept. 14
8:00-9:00 p.m. One Tree Hill (Season Premiere)
9:00-10:00 p.m. Gossip Girl (Season Premiere)

Wednesday, Sept. 16
8:00-9:00 p.m. America’s Next Top Model
9:00-10:00 p.m. The Beautiful Life: TBL (Series Premiere)

Friday, Sept. 25
8:00-9:00 p.m. Smallville (Season Premiere)
9:00-10:00 p.m. America’s Next Top Model (Encore Episodes)

Season 5 Confirmation

Thanks again for the nice comments on the new layout :D

Also I totally forgot to post the awesome news about Supernatural returning next year. I’m so happy because the show is just getting better and better and it would have been a shame if they had canned it.

CW Signals It’s Sticking Around by Renewing 6 Series

In the clearest sign yet that The CW will live to fight another season, the network has given early renewals to a half-dozen existing series, including Superman drama “Smallville.”

The CW President Dawn Ostroff began telephoning executives at Warner Bros. Television and CBS Paramount Network Television about the decision Tuesday morning. The network could announce the news as early as this afternoon.

In addition to “Smallville,” the series renewed for next season are “Gossip Girl,” “90210,” “America’s Next Top Model” (cycles 13 and 14), “One Tree Hill” and “Supernatural.” While the solid ratings for all six shows made pickups likely, the renewals were not all foregone conclusions.

In the case of “Smallville,” producer Warner Bros. Television had been negotiating with series star Tom Welling to return. The CW’s renewal indicates the studio was successful in those conversations.

There also had been a question of whether The CW itself would survive for another season. In recent months, however, it’s become increasingly clear that the network has moved to more solid ground.

The network has had a decent 2008-09 season, with the successful launch of “90210” and the strong pairing of “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” on Monday nights. All three shows have posted double-digit Nielsen gains compared to their timeslot averages last season.

The CW also has had success building its brand as a destination for young female viewers.

With six tentpole series renewed for next season, there aren’t that many holes in The CW’s 2009-10 schedule left to be filled. What’s more, two projects currently in development—a reimagination of “Melrose Place” and the “Gossip Girl” prequel “Lily”—are very likely to land series orders for next season, making it even more difficult for new shows to get on the air.

Nonetheless, The CW has an active development slate beyond “Melrose” and “Lily.” Two buzzworthy projects in the works include “Vampire Diaries” and “Light Years.” The CW also just picked up drama “The Beautiful Life.”

Shows on the bubble at The CW include “Reaper,” “Privileged,” “The Game” and “Everybody Hates Chris.” The latter series, which has already filmed enough episodes for syndication, is considered a long shot to return.

It’s also unclear what direction The CW will move on Friday and Sunday nights next fall, although both nights could provide logical homes for new programming. It’s unlikely, however, that The CW will program a full night of first-run scripted fare on Sundays.

’4.10 Heaven and Hell’ Caps & Asylum Convention

Hi everyone!

I apologize for the lack of updates. I planned on adding tons of stuff while I was on vacation but somehow I spent most of my time partying and going out with friends instead.

So what’s new? Jensen will be attending the Asylum 3 Convention next year which is totally awesome. I’m thinking about going. Hope I have enough money to do so.

Also I finally added the caps for the last episode. I know it took me like a month to do so and once again sorry. Enjoy the caps!

‘My Bloody Valentine 3-D’ Trailer

So the trailer for Jensen’s latest movie is finally out and it looks quite good and this is coming from someone who really hates horror movies.
I uploaded the trailer for you all and I will be making caps of it soon.
Also I will add caps & clips from the last 3 episodes of Supernatural. I would have done it earlier but there is so much stuff going on right now. A lot of bad things are happening that I just didn’t have the time or interest in doing anything for any of my sites. I’m really sorry.

Anyways enjoy the trailer.

‘Supernatural’ Season 4 Experiences a Ratings Surge

Now that the fall TV season is in full swing, it’s starting to look like the writers’ strike caused a lot more damage to television than we originally thought. Many sophomore shows have plummeted in the ratings compared to last year, including Pushing Daisies, Life, Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice, Chuck, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Early Word on Bloody Valentine Trailer

Here’s a really brief uninteresting article about Jensen’s movie My Bloody Valentine.

Source:ShockTillYouDrop.com

Lionsgate’s My Bloody Valentine remake carries the distinct bragging rights of being the first 3-D horror film out of the gate in 2009. Although long wrapped, we have heard a crew stepped behind the camera to lens some extra footage.

The shoot – which occurred recently in the Los Angeles area – entailed a movie theater “full of an audience wearing their 3-D glasses,” says one source involved who didn’t go into further details about what footage was picked up.

We were told this was all specifically done for the upcoming trailer which leads us to presume Lionsgate is cooking up something unique to advertise Valentine’s massacre. (What do you think they’re up to? Speculate below!)

Opening January 16, 2009, the film is directed by Patrick Lussier and stars Jaime King, Jensen Ackles, Kerr Smith, Edi Gathegi and Kevin Tighe.
