The Leads

The show is built entirely around the relationship of the Sam and Dean, and thankfully the leads, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, have chemistry in spades. The two bounce off of each other wonderfully, and the writers have truly found that brotherly relationship – they’re two grown men who sometimes bicker like an old married couple and solve disputes using Rock, Paper, Scissors. You get not just a sense that these guys are comfortable together but a sense of history from them. They feel like brothers, not like two guys co-leading a show on a fourth rate network. It’s the magic of casting, and I think that without this level of chemistry Supernatural would have failed years ago.

Hey everyone! I’m slowly but surely bringing some things from Jensen Ackles Web over to Desiring Jensen and I’ve just uploaded an episode of season six of Dawson’s Creek entitled “Instant Karma” to the gallery. I have the rest of the season to add as well but I won’t be able to do that til later this week:

So I spent the entire weekend working on the S1 Gallery of SPN. I replaced, rearranged, reorganized and added tons of pics which hopefully you will enjoy! S1 is pretty much complete now. Though I’m sure that there are more BTS pictures somewhere.

Just announced – remember Meg (will be played by Rachel Miner), the sassy demon with a huge grudge against the Winchester boys? Well, she’s back! This news comes after the recent report that Adrianne Palicki, Sam Winchester’s (Jared Padalecki) ill-fated girlfriend Jessica will return to reprise her role this season.

Aside from the two returning females, Meg and Jessica, also announced this week is the casting of Mark Pellegrino, who played Lost’s mystery man Jacob, as Lucifer.

And now for all you Jensen Ackles fans out there – while on his way to Vancouver to start shooting the new season, Ackles stopped by Christian Kane’s gig in Portland to say happy birthday to his friend. Ackles, Steve Carlson (Jake on Supernatural) and Aldis Hodge (Hardison on Leverage) influenced the crowd to sing a fun rendition of Happy Birthday. Then, to everyone’s surprise, Ackles hopped on stage with Kane (Leverage) and sang a rousing version of “Luchenbach, Texas.” Needless to say, fans of both stars were thrilled.
